Vallay Strand is a large sandy shallow lagoon at high tide, perfect for flat water windsurfing or kitesurfing. There are no particularly large hills around and as long as there is wind and the tide is in this place is perfect in all wind directions. Watch out for the currents on an ebbing tide.
There are launch sites all around Vallay Strand, pick you spot according to the wind direction.
At low tide it's a large sandy beach which is perfect for kite-mountainboarding.
A perfect camp site can be found on its eastern edge. There are no facilites, but there is a small shop in nearby Solas.
